Speaking 1 - Answering to Questions

For today's Speaking section we are going to talk about something that might seem so simple, but can be very tricky most of the times.
It's normal that when someone asks us something, we give the answer that corresponds to the question. However, when we don't understand what has been asked, we can give the wrong answer, or give it incomplete. To avoid this, always pay attention to what is being asked in order to answer it fully.

Take a look at this question and try to answer it orally, in English. After that, read the comment:

QUESTION: Do you rather summer or winter? Give reasons and examples.

COMMENT: Your answer must not be just about what season you do like better. It is asked for you to give reasons of why you like the chosen season and to give examples of your reasons. For a good answer you must give at least two reasons and one example for each reason.

Now, having these comments in mind, try to answer the following questions:

QUESTION 1: Do you rather Christmas or Easter? Give reasons and examples.

QUESTION 2: Would you like to live in a country of cold or hot weather? Why? Justify your choice.

QUESTION 3: Have you ever been late for an appointment? How it was? Explain the situation providing details for it.
